Vision

A society in which the state, community, parents and individual citizens are proactive and effective in protecting children against abuse.

Mission

To provide active support to individuals and organizations working to protect children from abuse and neglect in Zimbabwe.

Values

ANPPCAN Zimbabwe Chapter is guided by the following values and operating principles;
•    Best interest of the child
•    Transparency and accountability
•    Active participation of the communities
•    Non-discrimination

Developmental Objective

To protect children’s rights through lobbying and advocacy, research networking and other appropriate interventions.


Specific Objectives

•    Increase awareness of and access to proper nutrition and provide psychosocial support to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC’s) in Zimbabwe.
•    Empower children and communities to advocate for children’s rights, to protect children from abuse and neglect.
•    Increase level of awareness of the fundamental right to education, through among other mechanisms, public campaigns and provide practical and concrete community based interventions in the education of children.
•    To collaborate and network with other organizations having ideals similar to those of ANPPCAN Zimbabwe Chapter in addressing the needs of OVC’s in Zimbabwe
